JAIME AND NATHANIEL – THE BEGINNING
We met in Portland through a mutual friend at a church we both currently attend. He said on our first date he probably would never get married. I changed his mind, apparently.
Later in our relationship, he surprised me in San Diego at my favorite beach look out with my friends. Nathaniel sang a song and then proposed. I was so surprised my first words were “What are you doing here?”. I said yes though!
We got married in Coronado, CA and I had a blast on the dance floor celebrating with family and friends. In Vietnamese wedding tradition, we had 9 dinner courses and the most delicious lemon Chantilly cream cake. I also love that we got In-N-Out after the ceremony.
JAIME’S $$$ SAVING TIPS
We used Minted and had lots of friends contribute for decoration. My high school friend DJ’ed and reached out to a few friends to help with day of necessities.
